As the term winds down, our Belarusian Dream Team is entering it’s final week. Come see our last performance this Sunday, May 18th, at 7:30pm in Margot Tenney Theatre, Bennington College. We have staged-readings of three new plays (one directed by yours truly!) and musical performances by the insanely talented Alex Diaz. Plus food!
Also, tomorrow night at 7pm in Tishman, come see a screening of Europe’s Last Dictatorship, an award-winning documentary on Belarus!
Today, all over the world, Belarusian Dream Theaters are performing original works on Belarus, “Europe’s Last Dictatorship.” Tonight at 10pm, starting in D207, The Bennington College group will be performing four of these plays. Come see Oz Revisited, The Milk is Spoiled, Under Protest, and Variations on the Polis! Can’t get to Bennington, Vermont? Look at all of the other work happening around the globe! Find a Belarusian Dream group closest to your location. If you can’t make it to the shows tonight, try lighting a candle or reading up on Belarus. Do something to show your solidarity for Belarusian Freedom Fighters, and for oppressed people everywhere!
